North Atlantic Coast 5 Day Tour group tour

This tour will invoice exploring the scenery, culture and history of Northern Ireland and the Atlantic Coast. From traditional Gaelic culture, dramatic sea cliffs, ancient ruins and castles as well as wonderful scenery and the modern history of Belfast.  You will sample local cuisine, meet locals in traditional inns and pubs as well as walking along stunning beaches. 
Stay 1 night in Portrush, 1 night in Donegal and 2 nights in Westport.
Departing: Wednesdays (May to September)
Tour can be taken on it's own or as part of a longer trip

Inclusions: Transport (private mini-bus, max 16 passengers), guide, accommodation, Info Pack, maps, taxes, fees and financial protection.
Exclusions: Meals and refreshments, Entrances to some Visitor Attractions though we can include a pass will which gain you free entry into many attractions.

Day 1 - Dublin, Dundalk, Belfast, Causeway Coast

GalwayYou will leave Dublin and head north to the border on into Belfast and the Titanic Quarter.  You will spend in the afternoon you will sample the contrast of the bustling city and the striking scenery of the Antrim Coast and the Glens. You will travel along the coast from Ballycastle, along the Giants’ Causeway where you will spend a little time before heading into Portrush where you will spend the night.  

Day 2 - Londonderry, Donegal, Errigal Mountains

Cliffs of MoherToday you will make your first stop of the day in Londonderry before making the crossing back into the Republic of Ireland. On your return you will travel through Country Donegal where you will discover the Gaelic culture against a magnificent backdrop of scenery.  You will pass through Glenveagh National Park and Errigal Mountain, heading down the coast road through traditional fishing villages finishing up in Donegal where you will spend the night.

Day 3 - Sligo, Mayo, Westport

DingleToday you will travel into County Sligo. Here you can appreciate the stunning beaches at Strandhill and the vivid mountain scenery of Ben Bulben. You will then travel westwards to County Mayo travelling through large areas of open moors with views of the surrounding hills and farmland before arriving back at the Atlantic Coast and Achill Island. You will stay in Westport for the next two nights.

Day 4 - Connemara National Park

KerryToday you will explore Connemara National Park, you will also experience the beauty and tranquillity of Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, originally built in 1868 and it includes a miniature cathedral, known as the Gothic Church. You could also travel along the Sky Road and the Twelve Bens of Connemara.

Day 5 - Cong, Maam Valley, Galway

CorkToday you will travel from Westport and head further inland through the core of Connermara through to the village of Cong which lies on the shore of Lough Corrib. Here you will get a chance to visit either the Quiet Man Museum or Cong Abbey. On leaving Cong you will travel through the Maam Valley on into Galway City. You will arrive back in Dublin early evening.
